Named the most engaging shopping rewards app in 2017, Shopkick allows users to earn Kicks just for visiting a shop and gives them the opportunity to earn extra Kicks for performing tasks, such as scanning certain products in the app. Users can then redeem these Kicks for iTunes vouchers, restaurant vouchers, movie tickets and lots more- including charity donations.

If you are coming from the print world, you may need to rethink some of the things you learned in design school about "simple, clean" layouts. Interactive ads tend to be visually busier than print ads, but that doesn't diminish their impact. The ad should also feel just as native on the device as the app in which it was built. At the same time, you need to strike a balance between grabbing attention not going over the top.
Mobile introduces some powerful new insight possibilities for optimizing your campaigns. You will be able to capture taps, gestures, swipes, pinches and zooms, letting you know exactly how users are engaging with your ads. You can also track when users exit. If there are high numbers of exits on a particular section, make changes and re-deploy your ad, watching closely for changes. The other thing to monitor is how fast users arrive at the call-to-action. Sometimes removing elements will help users find the call-to-action faster.
We're still in the early days, but the results look extremely promising.
